Central Weld County Water District Colorado Open Records Act HB14-1193

The Board of Directors for Central Weld County Water District herby adopts the following written CORA policy effective August 21, 2014.

In reference to HB14-1193, the District will impose the following fees for any open records request:

1. ​$20.00/HR, after the 1st hour, for the research and retrieval of the record(s) for request. This hourly fee cannot exceed $30.00/HR and is based on the inflation factor subject to review again in 2019.
2. $0.25 per standard page and actual costs for non-standard page(s).
3. Normal retrieval is 3-7 business days unless extension is need.
4. The District, as custodian, will choose how to transmit documents.
5. Transmission fees will not apply on electronically submitted documents.
6. Copy fees will apply on electronically submitted documents.
7. A deposit may be required at the time of the request with the balance to be received prior to transmission of the documents.
8. All requests must be made in writing.

Public Records Request Form

The Office Manager is the official custodian of all public records, except criminal justice records as defined by C.R.S. § 24-72-302, and will process all requests for public records pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-72-203(1)(a) of the Public Records Act (the “Act”). A Public Records Request form must be filed with the Office Manager to initiate a request for public records. This policy applies to public records of Central Weld County Water District.
