Tap Fees and Surcharges
The chart below shows the MINIMUM amount charges for a district water tap. Every parcel is unique and requires
an individual study for an exact cost to be provided. The study process requires a MINIMUM of thirty (30) days to be completed once the study fee is paid.
New rates may apply if study has not been completed or commitment letter has expired.
As our customer base has expanded, some existing customers have raised their water usage beyond their annual tap allocation.
With the increasing costs of CBT water, water treatment, and infrastructure upkeep, we need to evaluate rates and surcharges each year to ensure our water supply can adequately serve all customers in the District.
To acquire additional CBT water, the District will be implementing the following surcharge rate increase.
SURCHARGES
Effective November 1, 2023
Quarter Tap = $35/TH over allotment
Budget Tap = $25/TH over allotment
5/8" and larger Taps = $15/TH over allotment
