Central Weld County Water District is looking for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant who specializes in Accounting.


  • Accounting degree or 5 years equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of core computer programs and aptitude for working with new systems and software. 

  • Strong math skills and all functions related to accounting duties.

  • Detail oriented with good communications skills.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Team player with a customer service mindset

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software. 

  • Knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, and spreadsheet applications.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, ethics, and methods.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other staff, customers, and service providers.

  • Must work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.

  • High phone volume, must be personable and able to handle customer complaints professionally. 


Must be 21 years of age. Must be a U.S. citizen and have reliable transportation.

$60,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience) salary, paid once a month, plus paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, and a retirement package effective after 90-day probation period if qualifications are met.
