NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of Central Weld County Water District and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District has approved a change to the Tap Fee Schedule at the public hearing held on September 26, 2019. The changes to the Tap Fee Schedule will be effective February 1, 2020. The changes include a new tap size for indoor use only, changes to the current allotments per tap size, and changes to the installation fee and CBT Raw Water Fee. All cost studies submitted in January 2020 will be subject to the tap being purchased by January 31, 2020 to avoid the rate increase. Cost studies are subject to a minimum two-week review period. The District reserves the right at any time to change any other rates and fees of the District as allowed by law. A new CBT surcharge rate was also approved at the public hearing for a new Quarter tap size effective February 1, 2020.
TAP FEES - this is guide showing the MINIMUM amount charged for a District tap. Every parcel is unique and requires an individual study for an exact cost to be provided. The study process requires a MINIMUM of thirty (30) days to be completed. New rates are in effect if study has been completed and commitment letter has expired.
